Scarf ring - Ferma foulard

This scarf ring is my last creation.
I made it using two shades of gray Perlè nr. 8 and working with four shuttles (two for each colour).
Adding beads makes it more elegant and refined.


Questo ferma foulard è la mia ultima creazione.
L'ho realizzato utilizzando due tonalità di grigio Perlè nr. 8 e lavorando con quattro navette (due per ciascun colore).
l'aggiunta di perline lo rende più elegante e raffinato.



The diameter of the plastic ring is cm 5, and the beads measure 4 mm.

L'anello di plastica ha un diametro di cm 5, mentre le perline misurano 4 mm.


Instructions / Istruzioni:

Colour 1:
Cover the plastic ring with 5ds - 1sp (small picot). Repeat other 25 times. Cut and tie.
Make a chain of 8ds leaving a small loop at the beginning - 1Lp (long picot) - 8ds, join to the sp of the plastic ring - 8ds - 1Lp - 8ds, join to the small loop, 20ds. Start working with the second color to cross the chains and repeat this step from the beginning, replacing the starting loop with a small picot and adding a bead to the Lp before to join the previous chain.

Colour 2:
Make a chain of 12ds leaving a small loop at the beginning, join to the sp of the plastic ring - 12ds, join to the small loop, 30ds. Repeat this step crossing this chain to the other and replacing the starting loop with a small picot.

Back:
Tie the threads to a sp of the plasic ring.
Colour 1:
Ring of 8ds - 1p - 8ds. Close. Reverse work.
Colour 2:
Chain of 10ds, join to the p of the ring. RW.
Colour 1:
Ring as before. RW.
Colour 2:
Chain as before. RW.
Repeat these steps other six times joining the 
last ring to the sp of the plastic ring.
 
Colour 2:
Come back making a chain as before, join to the p of the ring. Repeat other seven times.

Colore 1:
Rivestite l'anello di plastica con 5nd - 1pp (picot piccolo). Ripetete altre 25 volte.
Tagliate e annodate i fili.
Lavorate un arco di 8nd lasciando un piccolo cappio all'inizio - 1pL (picot lungo) - 8nd, att. al pp dell'anello di plastica - 8nd - 1pL - 8nd, att. al cappio iniziale, 20nd.
Iniziate a lavorare con il secondo colore per poter incrociare gli archi e ripetete questo passaggio dall'inizio sostituendo il cappio iniziale con un picot piccolo e aggiungendo una perlina al pL prima di att. all'arco precedente.

Colore 2:
Lavorate un arco di 12nd lasciando un piccolo cappio all'inzio, att. al pp dell'anello di plastica - 12nd, att. al cappio iniziale, 30nd. Ripetete questo passaggio incrociando questo arco con l'altro e sostituendo il cappio iniziale con un picot piccolo.

Retro:
Legate i fili a un pp dell'anello di plastica.
Colore 1:
Anello di 8nd - 1p - 8nd. Chiudere. Volt. il lavoro.
Colore 2:
Arco di 10nd, att. al p dell'AN. Volt.
Colore 1:
AN come come prima. Volt.
Colore 2:
AR come prima. Volt.
Ripetere questi passaggi altre sei volte unenddo l'ultimo anello al pp dell'anello di plastica.
Colore 2:
Tornare indietro lavorando un AR come prima, att. al p dell'anello. Ripetere altre sette volte.
