Tatting bracelet - Bracciale a chiacchierino

Size: cm 13 x cm 2

Materials:

Babylo size 30, green color;

2 shuttles;

78 beads ø 2mm;

cardboard spacer of 6mm wide (optional);

hook for bracelet;

crochet hook;

scissors.

PREMISE

The diagram represents the right side of the work and, as you can see, the bracelet is composed of large rings and small rings, always worked the same way and separated by a bare thread of 6mm long.

To be sure to leave the same space between the rings, you can use a spacer, i.e. the strip of cardboard that I indicated among the materials.

To make the pattern clearer, I have indicated the shuttles with two different colors: shuttle 1 in black and shuttle 2 in red.

When reverse work and switch shuttles, place the shuttle you are using over and the other one below, to get the same thread crossing shown in the diagram.

The beads are positioned on the core thread, to insert them proceed as follows:

slide the beads (3 beads, when you work a large ring and 1 bead, when you work a small ring), turn the thread around the fingers to work the R, keeping the beads away from the working point of the ds, but always inside the loop. Work the ds, slide a bead until it touches the last worked ds, then continue the work as indicated.

After this premise, let's move on to the instructions.

PREMESSA

Lo schema rappresenta il diritto del lavoro e, come potete vedere, il bracciale è formato da anelli grandi e anelli piccoli, lavorati sempre allo stesso modo e separati da una barretta di filo lunga 6mm.

Per essere certi di lasciare sempre lo stesso spazio tra gli anelli, potete usare un  distanziatore, cioè la striscia di cartoncino che ho indicato tra i materiali.

Per rendere lo schema più chiaro, ho indicato le navette con due colori diversi: la navetta 1 in nero e la navetta 2 in rosso.

Quando voltate il lavoro e scambiate le navette, posizionate la navetta che state utilizzando sopra e l'altra sotto, per ottenere lo stesso incrocio dei fili mostrato nello schema.

Le perline sono posizionate sul filo portanodi, per inserirle procedete in questo modo:

fate scorrere le perline (3 perline, quando lavorate un anello grande e 1 perlina, quando lavorate un anello piccolo), girate il filo intorno alle dita per lavorare l'AN, mantenendo le  perline lontano dal punto di lavorazione dei nd, ma sempre all'interno del cerchio. Lavorate i nd, fate scorrere una perlina fino a toccare l'ultimo nd lavorato, poi continuate la lavorazione come indicato.

Dopo questa premessa, passiamo alle istruzioni.

The bracelet is worked with two shuttles and continuous thread, starting from the dotted R. All picots are small.

Fully wind one shuttle, load the beads and wind the second shuttle to split the thread on both.

The beads are also divided in half between the first and second shuttle: 39 beads on shuttle 1 (indicated in the diagram with black color) and 39 beads on shuttle 2 (indicated in the diagram with red color).

Slide 3 beads from shuttle 1 and form the loop as described above.

Work a large R (with 3 beads) of 8ds - 1p - 3ds - 1 bead - 2ds - 1 bead - 2ds - 1 bead - 9ds - 1p - 2ds. Close.

Small R (without bead) of 2ds - join to the last p of the previous R - 6ds - 1p - 2nd. Close.

Large R (with 3 beads) of 2ds - join to the p of the previous R - 9ds - 1 bead - 2ds - 1 bead - 2ds - 1 bead - 3ds - 1p - 8ds. Close and RW.

After working a R and before working the next one, always pay attention to the crossing of the threads.

Still with shuttle 1, work a small R (with 1 bead) of 4ds - join to the p of the previous R - 3ds - 1 bead - 3ds - 1p - 4ds. Close and RW.

With shuttle 2, work another small R. Do not RW.

With shuttle 1, work another large R. RW.

With shuttle 2, work another large R. Do not RW.

With shuttle 1, work another small R. RW.

With shuttle 2, work another small R. Do not RW.

Keep working like this until the last small R with bead, RW. and work the last three R.

Cut and Tie.

Add the hook and the bracelet is complete.

Il bracciale si lavora con due navette e filo continuo, iniziando dall'AN tratteggiato. Tutti i picot sono piccoli.

Avvolgete completamente una navetta, caricate le perline e avvolgete la seconda navetta in modo da dividere il filo su entrambe.

Anche le perline vanno divise a metà tra la prima e la seconda navetta: 39 perline sulla navetta 1 (indicata nello schema con il colore nero) e 39 perline sulla navetta 2 (indicata nello schema con il colore rosso).

Fate scorrere 3 perline dalla navetta 1 e formate il cerchio come descritto sopra.

Lavorate un AN grande (con 3 perline) di 8nd - 1p - 3nd - 1 perlina - 2nd - 1 perlina - 2nd - 1 perlina - 9nd - 1p - 2nd. Ch.

AN piccolo (senza perlina) di 2nd - att. all'ultimo p dell'AN precedente - 6nd - 1p - 2nd. Ch.

AN grande (con 3 perline) di 2nd - att. al p dell'AN precedente - 9nd - 1 perlina - 2nd - 1 perlina - 2nd - 1 perlina - 3nd - 1p - 8nd. Ch. e volt.

Dopo aver lavorato un AN e prima di lavorare quello successivo, fate sempre attenzione all'incrocio dei fili.

Sempre con la navetta 1, lavorate un AN piccolo (con 1 perlina) di 4nd - att. al p dell'AN precedente - 3nd - 1 perlina - 3nd - 1p - 4nd. Ch. e volt.

Con la navetta 2, lavorate un altro AN piccolo. Non volt.

Con la navetta 1, lavorate un altro AN grande. Volt.

Con la navetta 2, lavorate un altro AN grande. Non volt.

Con la navetta 1, lavorate un altro AN piccolo. Volt.

Con la navetta 2, lavorate un altro AN piccolo. Non volt.

Continuate a lavorare in questo modo fino all'ultimo AN piccolo con perlina, volt. e lavorate gli ultimi tre AN.

Tagliate e annodate i fili. 

Aggiungete il gancio e il bracciale è completo.

Tatting sharing 2: round 2 - Chiacchierino condiviso 2: giro 2

 

With 115 "likes" against 87 "hearts" (86 "hearts" + 1 "Wow". Count performed as indicated in point 3 of the new regulation): version 1 wins the second challenge.

I really like this round because I inserted an element that I love, namely the overlapping chains.

Many of you may not have noticed them thinking they were large rings. I hope the instructions are clear and you find their execution interesting.

Con 115 "like" contro 87 "cuoricini" (86 "cuoricini" + 1 "Wow". Calcolo eseguito come indicato al punto 3 del nuovo regolamento): la versione 1 vince la seconda sfida.

Questo giro mi piace molto perché ho inserito un elemento che amo, cioé gli archi sovrapposti.

Molti di voi, forse non li hanno notati pensando che fossero dei grandi anelli. Spero che le istruzioni siano chiare e troviate interessante la loro esecuzione.

How to work overlapping chains - Come lavorare gli archi sovrapposti

Photo 1: after working the first half of the C, place the work as shown in the photo 1 - double stitches of the C must face towards the p and the threads of the shuttles must remain behind the motif.

Foto 1: dopo aver lavorato la prima metà dell'AR, posizionate il lavoro come mostrato nella foto 1 - i nodini doppi dell'AR devono essere rivolti verso il p e i fili delle navette devono rimanere dietro il motivo.

Photo 2: fold the C you are working over the motif as shown in photo 2, making sure that the threads of the shuttles remain in the same position as before.

Foto 2: piegate l'AR che state lavorando sopra il motivo come mostrato nella foto 2, facendo attenzione che i fili delle navette rimangano nella stessa posizione di prima. 
 

Photo 3: pass the crochet hook through the joining p between the rings of the previous round and extract a loop; pass the shuttle through the loop to hook the chain, as usually (photo 3).

Foto 3: passate l'uncinetto attraverso il p d'unione tra gli anelli del giro precedente ed estraete un'asola; passate la navetta attraverso l'asola per agganciate l'arco, come fate di solito (foto 3).

Photo 4: pull the shuttle thread until the loop is closed, position the second round being worked correctly and make sure you have successfully joined. (photo 4).

Foto 4: tirate il filo della navetta fino a chiudere l'asola, posizionate correttamente il secondo giro in lavorazione e assicuratevi di aver eseguito bene l'unione (foto 4).

Photo 5: continue to work the C as per instructions (photo 5).

In this photo you can see the first two steps in comparison. Note the detail inside the circle: the threads of the two shuttles always remain in the same position.

How to start without knot and without continuous thread - Come iniziare senza nodi e senza filo continuo

 

Starting to work without knot and without the continuous thread (i.e. divided on both shuttles without interruption), can always be useful, especially if we want to work with two different colors.

Iniziare a lavorare senza nodi e senza il filo continuo (cioè diviso su entrambe le navette senza interruzione), può essere sempre utile, in particolare se vogliamo lavorare con due colori diversi.

How to make.

Step 1 - With the first shuttle, start to work a ring by hiding the end inside the first three double stitches (to see how to hide the starting ends, see this video), but being careful to leave a small loop as shown in the Photo 1;

Step 2 - Complete the number of double stitches of the ring (Photo 2);

Step 3 - Pass the thread of the second shuttle, through the loop formed by the thread of the hidden end inside the first three double stitches (Photo 3);

Step 4 - Pull the thread of the end so that it slides inside the first three double stitches and close the loop (Photo 4);

Step 5 - At this point the ring is closed and the second shuttle is hooked to its base (Photo 5);

Step 6 - Reverse work and make the chain as usual, hiding the second end inside the first three double stitches (Photo 6).

Come fare.

Step 1 - Con la prima navetta, iniziate a lavorare un anello nascondendo l'estremità all'interno dei primi tre nodini doppi (per vedere come nascondere le estremità iniziali, guardate questo video), facendo però attenzione a lasciare una piccola asola come mostrato nella Foto 1;

Step 2 - Completate il numero dei nodini dell'anello (Foto 2);

Step 3 - Passate il filo della seconda navetta, attraverso l'asola formata dal filo dell'estremità nascosta all'interno dei primi tre nodini doppi (Foto 3);

Step 4 - Tirate il filo dell'estremità in modo che scorra attraverso i primi tre nodini e chiudete l'asola (Foto 4);

Step 5 - A questo punto l'anello è chiuso e la seconda navetta è agganciata alla sua base (Foto 5);

Step 6 - Voltate il lavoro e lavorate l'arco normalmente, nascondendo la seconda estremità all'interno dei primi tre nodini doppi (Foto 6).

What is Tatting sharing?

It's a game.

Who can participate?

Anyone who wants it.

Where is it played?

What are the rules of the game?

Here is the NEW REGULATION:

1. purpose of the game is to create together a tatting doily pattern;
2. at each appointment, established from time to time, I will publish in Facebook profile a post with two different versions for each round;
3. everyone will be able to vote for the preferred version with a "like" or a "heart", any other smiley face will be assigned to the version that has obtained the fewest votes;
4. the votes expressed in the comments will not be valid for the purposes of the final count;
5. only the votes cast on the post published on my profile will be valid;
6. there will be 4 days to vote;
7. the version that will have won (and only that) will be published, with diagram and instructions, in my blog;
8. I will make the doily with cordonnet thread size 30 ecru color, whoever wants to make it together with me will have to choose the desired thread;
9. at the end of the game, you 'll be able to send me the photo of your work, and I will insert it inside the dedicated album "Tatting sharing 2".
