Overlapping the chains in the tatting worked with the needle or celtic shuttle, is not a problem; but if like me you work with the classic shuttles, obtaining such an effect can be difficult if the space is too small to allow the passage of the shuttles through the chains.

In that motif the chains were very large and easy to overlap.
In the pattern I show you in the photo of this post, the space is very small, but overlap the chains is equally possible.

Sovrapporre gli archi nel chiacchierino lavorato con l'ago o con la navetta allungata (celtic shuttle), non è un problema; ma se come me lavorate con le navette classiche, ottenere un simile effetto può essere difficile se lo spazio è troppo piccolo per consentire il passaggio delle navette attraverso gli archi.

In quel motivo gli archi erano molto grandi e facilmente sovrapponibili.
Nel motivo che vi mostro nella foto di questo post, lo spazio è molto piccolo, ma sovrapporre gli archi è ugualmente possibile.

To close the motif, I made the step 2, but then I joined the rings as usual. I joined the last ring of the group to the first ring and then I cut the thread leaving an end of about 15 cm that I passed on the back of the work through the chain space. I tied the thread to the shuttle again and worked the last chain. I cut and tied the threads.
Per chiudere il motivo, ho eseguito lo step 2, ma poi ho unito normalmente gli anelli. Ho unito l'ultimo anello del gruppo al primo anello e ho tagliato il filo lasciando una coda di circa 15 cm che ho passato sul retro del lavoro attraverso lo spazio dell'arco. Ho legato di nuovo il filo alla navetta e infine ho lavorato l'ultimo arco. Ho tagliato e annodato i fili.
