Greeting card with tatting decoration - Biglietto d'auguri con decorazione a chiacchierino

Giving a gift is always a pleasure, not only for the person who will receive it, but also for the giving gift, especially if he has a wide range of quality products among which to choose, and the convenience of doing it quietly sitting on the couch at home.
I discovered (I admit it) only recently, a website that allows me all this: nandida.com, one Italian online store in which you can find gift ideas for the whole family because its assortment ranges from cosmetics to fashion, from accessories to DIY, not forgetting the games for children and the free time.
Suddenly, choosing the perfect gift for each event has become easier.
And so, after consulting the various sections in search of the next gift that I will do, I imagined this greeting card with a colorful tatting decoration.

To make your greeting card with a tatting decoration read on.

All you need:

"Heart design" in PDF format is available on my Designs page;

Perlè no 8;

shuttle;

crochet hook;

scissors;

pencil;
heavy paper;

embroidery needle to pierce the design.

R of 2ds - 1p - 10ds - 2p separated by 2ds - 2ds. Close.

R of 2ds - join to the last p of the previous R - 4ds - 3p separated by 4ds - 2ds. Close.

R of 2ds - join to the last p of the previous R - 4ds - 1p - 8ds - join to the first p of the first R - 2ds. Close. 

Motivo 1:

AN di  2nd - 1p - 10nd - 2p separati da 2nd - 2nd. Chiudere.

AN di 2nd - att. all'ultimo p dell'AN precedente - 4 nd - 3p separati da 4nd - 2nd. Chiudere. Cut and tie.

AN di 2nd - att. all'ultimo p dell'AN precedente - 4nd - 1p - 8nd - att. al primo p del primo AN - 2nd. Chiudere. Tagliare e annodare i fili.

Repeat the motif 2, but remember to join the 3rd R of this motif to the 2nd R of the motif 2, and the 4th R of this motif to the 1st R of the motif 2 as shown in the diagram.

Motivo 3:

Ripetere il motivo 2, ricordando di unire il terzo AN di questo motivo al secondo AN del motivo 2, e il quarto AN di questo motivo al primo AN del motivo 2, come mostrato nello schema.

After making tatting decoration, cut out the heart and pierce the dots with an embroidery needle (you can watch the video for more clarity), then draw the outline of the heart and the dots onto heavy paper, and cut it again. Pierce the dots again.

Turn the smaller heart onto the bigger from down to up.

Now you are ready to complete the greeting card. 

Take the thread of the ball and pass it through the first hole as shown in this photo, tie to the shuttle and wind it with 30 cm of the yarn.

Dopo aver completato la decorazione chiacchierino, ritagliate il cuore e praticate dei fori in corrispondenza dei puntini con un ago da ricamo (potete guardare il video per maggiore chiarezza), quindi disegnate il contorno del cuore e i puntini su un cartoncino e ritagliatelo di nuovo. Praticate i fori anche in questo cuore.

Ripiegate il cuore più piccolo sul più grande, dal basso verso l'alto.

Ora siete pronti per completate il biglietto d'auguri.

Prendete il filo del gomitolo e fatelo passare attraverso il primo foro, come mostrato in questa foto, legatelo alla navetta e avvolgete circa 30 cm di filo.

Make a C of 2ds - 4p separated by 2ds - 2ds - join to the second hole and follow the diagram to join the tatting decoration to the card. 

Lavorate un AR di 2nd - 4p separati da 2nd - 2nd - att. al secondo foro e seguite lo schema per unire la decorazione a chiacchierino al biglietto.
