This stitch is worked onto chain stitches in multiples of 4, plus add 1.
Make a chain of desired length (you find in the diagram 37ch = 9 x 4 + 1) and work in this way:

Row 1: 3ch (count as 1dc) - 3ch - 1dc into the 4th stitch from the hook - 1dc into the 7th stitch from the hook. *Skip 3ch and work 1dc into the next ch stitch - 3ch - 1dc into the top loop of the previous dc - 1dc into the same ch of the previous dc.*
Repeat from *to* across the row. Turn.

Giro 1: 3cat. (sostituiscono la prima m.a.) - 3cat. - 1m.a. puntando nella quarta cat. dall'uncinetto - 1m.a nella settima cat. dall'uncinetto. *Saltare 3cat. e lavorare 1m.a. nella cat. successiva - 3cat. - 1m.a. puntando l'uncinetto nella m.a. precedente - 1m.a. nella stessa cat. della m.a. precedente.*
Ripetere da *a* per tutto il giro. Girare il lavoro.


Row 2: *7ch - 1sc between 2 dc of the previous row.* Repeat from ^to* across the row. End row with 3ch - 1tr. Turn.

Giro 2: *7cat - 1m.b. tra le due m.a. del giro precedente.* Ripetere da *a* per tutto il giro. Terminate il giro con 3cat. - 1m.ass. Girare il lavoro.


Row 3: repeat row 1 working the dc into the 4th ch of the previous row.

Giro 3: ripetere il giro 1 lavorando le m.a. nella quarta cat. del giro precedente.
